Electrical Design Engineer for Subsea Equipment in Newcastle!

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's team on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and testing electrical systems used in subsea equipment manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make your mark within the industry.

Experience:
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following experience:

* 5+ years of experience in electrical design
* Experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Solidworks
* Electrical schematic drawing
* Knowledge of the offshore/subsea engineering industry is beneficial but not essential
* Knowledge of HV and LV systems
* Experience with Hazardous Area Classification during system design
* Experience with Safety circuit resets
* Variable drive systems knowledge is beneficial but not essential

Rate & Location:
The rate offered is negotiable and outside IR35 regulations which includes three days spent at their office located at Newcastle upon Tyne and 2 days at home.
